Kantaris is an all new media player based on code from Videolan client (VLC) and Bass audio library. Kantaris has a graphical user interface similar to that of Windows Media Player. Version 0.2.5 works with Windows 2000, XP and Vista.

Kantaris version 0.2.5 includes the following improvements and probably some others that I’ve forgot:

• New movie trailers menu.
• Can now select embedded subtitles in videos.
• Support for multiple audio tracks in videos.
• Control now also works for DVD’s in iso format.
• Minor bug fixes.
