Posted on Saturday, November 15 2008 @ 21:27 CET by

Hardware sensors monitor utilizes sensor chips on smart motherboards to track system and CPU temperatures, voltages and cooling fans. By quickly catching an overheated computer, you can prevent disasters such as system instability or damage. The program is resource friendly, resides quietly in the system tray, and continually monitors the various parameters.

First of all, it is shareware, not free. Second, it does not show a lot. In fact there many truly free applications that show much, much more.

    I say pass on this.

Hmonitor supports much more configurations then all free programs together! For some hardware it's the only utility that works at all, ie most Dell and HP desktops.
Also, it has much more options for remote monitoring, ie WMI or SNMP support.

But version 4.4.3.2 is OBSOLETE now, current version on the author's site is 4.5.1.1.
