SMART Disk Monitor is a network wide disk space monitor tool enabling Systems Administrators to centrally monitor disk utilization, SMART predictive failure notifications, directory sizes, user access permissions, file extension break down, and recently accessed files.

In previous builds many users were getting confused when assigning actions to SMART status alerts, error alerts, and directory size alerts. We have added a statement above each control set explaining that only the action types associated with the controls are listed. We also changed the behavior of the Actions Manager dialog to default new actions to the type associated with the controls the user invoked the Actions Manager from. For example, if the user is on the SMART tab within the Disk Monitor Configuration Wizard and they click on the manage actions button (wrench and yellow triangle), the Actions Manager dialog now defaults new actions to SMART monitor type rather than Disk as the dialog did prior to this build.
