SpeedFan 4.24 beta 18

Posted on Tuesday, May 10 2005 @ 18:17:52 CEST by LSDsmurf

Big news! This latest beta adds support for Abit uGuru. In order to run this beta, simply replace the EXE from version 4.23 and then run SpeedFan. This version adds full temperature, voltages and fan speeds monitoring. I'm trying to figure out how different versions of each motherboard should be handled, if they all use the same circuitry to monitor voltages and temperatures and I'm slowly testing for additional features, like fan control. Please, send me SEND REPORTs (INFO tab) from your Abit hardware so that I can properly verify if everything is working fine and how reliably. Please, note that there is no arbitration to avoid accessing uGuru together with other tools and the results are unknown. If your motherboard is not supported, feel free to drop me an email and I will do my best. This beta adds even another interesting feature, but we focus on it later on :-)

SpeedFan 4.24 beta 18 adds support for more motherboard models and, since everything seems to be working fine, now there is no need for any special command line switch to enabled uGuru support. As always, there are several other minor fixes.
