Posted on Monday, May 25 2009 @ 13:38:02 CEST by

User profiles can grow large and may take up considerable disk space, especially if there are several users using one computer. Because of this, you may want to use Remote Profile Cleaner to free disk space by deleting profiles that are no longer required. Remote Profile Cleaner is the Windows Administrator tool to delete (cached) user profiles on local or remote computers running Windows NT4, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows 2003.

What's updated:
•Ping does no longer require administrator credentials (switched to an implementation of ICMP.dll) done

What's new:
•Remove profile SID (key / subkey / values) from the registry [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionProfileListSID id subkey] on the remote computer. done
•Allow registry values to be copied (backup) to a registry file (*.reg). done •WMI implementation for registry backup and profile SID removal (registry). done
What's fixed:

•Access Violation error while saving log file without adding full path syntax to "l:" parameter (scheduled jobs only). done
•Added default profiles "Default" and "Public" for Windows Vista and Windows 7. done
