QT Lite is a trimmed down version of QuickTime that contains only the essential components needed for playing QuickTime content that is embedded in web pages.

Known bug: the included QT framework does not work in combination with MPC. However, it does work with the full QuickTime installation. If you have an idea what is missing in QT Lite, let us know
