The 7.09g version of WinImage (18 august 2005) is a pre-release of WinImage 7.50. There is somes fixes, and speed improvement in read of write password encrypted file with this version.

This version can also open NTFS and Linux EXT2FS or EXT3FS image image in read only mode, and open Virtual Hard Disk Image (.VHD files) created by Microsoft Virtual PC and Microsoft Virtual server. It is compatible with WinImage 7.0 translation file.

If your computer contain Linux partition, you can also view the content of this partition on WinImage (and extract file). Take "Options" menu, select "Settings" and, in "Disk" tab, check "Search Linux partition when starting WinImage". After, select "Connect Linux partition" on File Menu.
