Website-Watcher 4.10 Beta 2
Posted on Monday, January 16 2006 @ 16:43 CET by LSDsmurfWebSite-Watcher checks an unlimited number of web-sites for updates and changes with a minimum of time and online-costs. When changes in a website are detected, it saves the last two versions to your hard disk and highlights all changes in the text.
Changelog:
- Added: If WebSite-Watcher isn't able to highlight changes (for example when only content has been removed), then WebSite-Watcher tries to display content removals
- Changed/Improved: ALT+Click on a link opens the link in the external browser (generally said, Shift+Click always opens a page in a new browser tab, ALT+Click always opens a page in the external browser)
- Added: New shortcuts: Ctrl+Shift+Enter sets the focus to the folder pane, and pressing Enter sets the focus to the bookmark list
- Changed/Improved: Ctrl+Enter always selects the bookmark list now (and no longer changes the focus between bookmark list and internal browser)
- Fixed: Ctrl+Enter didn't work when the cursor was in an edit field of the internal browser
- Added: Bookmark Action "Run program": New parameter %u (is replaced with the URL field)
- Fixed: Pressing the Spacebar to scroll down the internal browser could cause a crash
- Fixed: Assigning an RSS template with the "Set properties in all selected bookmarks" feature caused that a check reported an "RSS/Atom feed has no entries" message
- Fixed: Restore feature displayed a "Close" message box falsely
- Fixed: AutoWatch wasn't checked correctly in the TrayIcon context menu under certain circumstances
- Changed/Improved: "Use internal browser" feature is back as global option (was available in the Tweak section in beta-1)
- Changed/Improved: Bookmark name in "Add from browser" dialog reintroduced (was removed in beta-1). Please note that this field can no longer be autofilled due to some unicode conflicts with browsers. If this field is not entered manually, it is autofilled

- Fixed: Date variables were not resolved correctly within Check-Macros under certain circumstances
- Changed/Improved: "Test filter" dialog can be closed with the Esc key
