- Pagination is now supported in FeedDemon's newspapers.
- Popular Topics - shows the most frequently linked articles across your subscriptions.
- Flags are now synchronized
- Redesigned subscription search
- Security lockdown - FeedDemon now completely disables scripting in its newspaper view. This means that even if a cracker finds a way to inject script into a feed in a way that circumvents FeedDemon's "cleansing" of feed content, the script still won't be able to execute. There are also other new security measures, including the removal of DTDs from feeds before parsing (here's one reason why this is done)
- Newspapers now highlight keywords in watches and subscription search results.
- Keyboard navigation of news items and single-key shortcuts when the newspaper has the focus.
- Integration with Windows Live Writer. If you don't already have a blog publishing tool configured in FeedDemon, FeedDemon will automatically detect Live Writer. Otherwise, click the "Auto-detect" button on the "Configure Blog Publishing Tools" dialog to add Live Writer.
- "Increase newspaper font size" added to Reading tab in options (affects font size in all FeedDemon newspapers without affecting external pages)
- "Manage Folders" added to synchronization options, which enables selecting multiple folders to synchronize (or de-synchronize) with NewsGator Online
- New "Blue Vista" newspaper style.
- YouTube Video Search added to keyword searches in subscription wizard.
- Thumbnail images next to posts when excerpts are displayed (Surfer and Blue Vista styles)
- And the usual embarrassing assortment of bug fixes.
