Windows PowerShell 1.0 RTW currently supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows Server 2003. For Windows Vista and Windows Server code-name "Longhorn" we have Windows PowerShell RC2 available only for Vista Build 5600 and "Longhorn" build 5600. The .NET Framework 2.0 is required in order to install Windows PowerShell.
