Yesterday there was a rumor that the AMD Ryzen 5 would launch on April 17th but now VideoCardz claims the chips will launch on April 11th. As usual, the site got its hands on a bunch of leaked marketing slides from AMD to back up its claims.

The slides reveal AMD is preparing to release four Ryzen 5 SKUs: the 1400, 1500X, 1600, and 1600X. The 1600 series consists of six-core models while the former two parts are quad-cores, and all four Ryzen 5 launch SKUs are equipped with SMT.

The 1400 has a 3.2GHz base clock and 3.4GHz Boost, the 1500X has a 3.5GHz base and 3.7GHz Boost, the 1600 has 3.2GHz base frequency and 3.6GHz Boost, and the 1600X has a 3.6GHz core and 4.0GHz Boost frequency. Pricing is $169, $189, $219 and $249, respectively.
In official information for channel partners AMD revealed that Ryzen 5 are focused on 1080p gaming:

We’re thrilled to let you know we have an incredibly strong roadmap and our upcoming AMD Ryzen™ 5 processor will be focused on 1080p game play. The best is yet to come!
