Doom's Denuvo anti-piracy protection has reportedly been cracked

DSO Gaming reports crackers succeeded in creating the very first working crack for Doom. The reason why this is big news is because Doom is protected by Denuvo, an anti-tamper technology that gained notoriety for being extremely hard if not impossible to crack.

Since Dragon Age: Inquisition in December 2014, crackers failed to publish cracks for games protected by Denuvo so if Doom really got cracked it's big news.
Obviously, we won’t share any links to the crack. All we have to say is that this crack was created by the cracker who had previously removed some “triggers” from The Talos Principles.

In other words, this is the real deal. And in case you’re wondering, no; this crack is not from 3DM.

This crack appears to be working fine, so yes; this is the real deal.

It will be interesting to see whether other games, powered by Denuvo, will be cracked via the method that was used for DOOM.
We do not know the specifics of this crack but some sources claim it's not a true crack but more of a bypass that tricks Steam into thinking you're playing the demo version of the game.
