It has Nokia's new web browser with mini map for convenient Internet access. This new browser also enables RSS feeds, enabling users to subscribe to their favorite websites and receive regular updates.
The N71 features digital music, video and stereo FM support and has a 5 band equalizer along with a miniSD memory card slot that supports cards of up to 2GB. And there's also a 2 megapixel digital camera to take pictures or record movies.
The Nokia N71 music experience can be further enhanced by the in-box Nokia Audio Adapter, which enables users to listen to the device's digital music player or stereo FM radio through standard stereo headphones. With the separately available Nokia Audio Cable, users can also plug the Nokia N71 into a compatible home stereo system for stereo playback.
The Nokia N71 will be available in the first quarter of 2006 for about 400EUR.
Also announced today: Nokia N80, Nokia N92.
What a great clamshell phone from Nokia. It's just been released on Vodafone and O2 in the Uk as well as being available SIM FREE from: www.BestBuyMobilePhones.com Just placed my order and can't wait until Monday. I've always loved flip phones, mostly down to the fact that the keys are always protected negating mistaken phone calls. So after seeing the other Nokia N-Series phones being released I was especially waiting for this one. Will let you know how I get on with it! AR
