TechPowerUp got to see two new SSDs from Kingston at CES 2020.
First up is Grandview, an upcoming mid-range PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD that will focus on a high cost/performance ratio. This model will be marketed under the HyperX brand and will feature the 4-channel Marvell 12nm "Whistler Plus" SSD controller. Kingston refused to mention whether the disk uses TLC or QLC NAND but said it will be offered in 500GB to 2TB capacities. The PCIe to M.2 adapter in the photo below is not part of the final retail product.
Next is Seccos, a new PCI Express 3.0 x4 disk with an unnamed 8-channel controller and 3D TLC NAND flash memory. This model will be offered in 250GB to 2TB capacities. Kingston promises up to 3500MB/s read speeds and 3000MB/s write speeds.
