Zalman VF2000 LED GPU and CPU cooler unveiled

Posted on Saturday, January 31 2009 @ 16:15:34 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Matbe published almost two dozen of photos of the new Zalman VF2000 LED cooler. This cooler uses a radiant design, with four heatpipes, a nickel-plated copper base and lots of aluminum fins. It features a 92mm blue LED fan, that spins at 1400 to 2350RPM, included with the cooler is the Zalman FanMate 2, this tiny unit enables you to adjust the fan speed manually.

The VF2000 LED measures 126mm x 110mm x 45mm and weighs 290g. It's designed for chips with a TDP of less than 110W and the special thing is that it not only supports GPUs but also CPUs. Included with the cooler are some clips to make it compatible with LGA775 and Socket AM2 processors.
