Yesterday we have reported that Asus is going to make new graphics cards based on ATI his chips. It is likely that Asus will choose Computex to officialy launch their own brand of ATI based graphics cards.

Asus his contract with NVIDIA to produce graphics cards based on NVIDIA his graphics chips ends in September according to DigiTimes. It is still unclear whether Asus will still produce NVIDIA based graphics cards in future.
In the past, graphics card makers had to choose to cooperate with only one company – ATI or Nvidia – in producing own-brand cards. Industry analysts, however, believe that Asustek hopes to produce both ATI and Nvidia-based graphics cards.

The company is leveraging its size as the world’s dominant graphics card maker and distributor to compel Nvidia into continued cooperation in the future, said analysts.
