reports the Radeon HD 2600 won't perform well enough to beat NVIDIA's GeForce 8600 GTS/GT graphics cards:
It will win in some tests and it certainly scores faster in 3Dmark06. Well this doesn’t matter that much as ATI already has 60+ percent of the OEM deals and will end up with the money in its pocket.
In retail it will be ugly, as the cards won’t be faster than Geforce 8600 GTS or GT, at least not by a high score margin.
So if you are Add in Board partner it won’t be that great, but if you are OEM you will sell loads of them. In the end ATI will make money out of them.
