Asus U1E notebook launched

Asus unveiled a new notebook last week, the ultra-portable U1E.

This notebook features a 11.1" WXGA display and weighs only 2.2 pounds with a 3-cell battery. It features a Intel Core Duo ULV 7500 CPU, up to 2GB DDR2 memory, 100GB HDD, WiFi and Bluetooth. There's no room for a DVD player but you can purchase an external DVD burner together with the U1E.

It will be available in October for a bit less than 2000EUR.
