Mushkin DDR2 memory ships in wooden box

Posted on Sunday, October 07 2007 @ 09:46:02 CEST by

While browsing around a bit on the web I stumbled upon a post at the forum of Nordic Hardware of a guy who just bought a Mushkin memory kit in Sweden for 750SEK (about $115).

The memory kit isn't really that special, just 2x 1GB of DDR2 800MHz memory with high 5-5-5-15 timings.

The special thing is the package in which the memory arrives. Mostly memory ships in a plastic blister box but Mushkin gone out of their way by shipping the memory in a wooden box. Kinda overkill IMO, I'd rather see some fancy heatspreaders on the memory instead
