Intel acquires game developer Offset

Sam McGrath from Offset Software announced on the company's website that they've been acquired by Intel:

Today we have some major news to announce.

Intel has acquired Offset Software. Yes, you read it correctly!

Project Offset is going strong and we are excited about things to come.

Stay tuned.

Offset Software is the creator of a game engine called Offset Engine. Info on the reason why Intel acquired this game developer isn't available yet but I guess it's related to Intel's Larrabee project.
