MSI K9A2GM motherboard
MSI launches their new MSI K9A2GM/VM series based on the 780G and 780V AMD chipset. The new motherboard series support socket AM2 and AM2+ and are compatible with the new Phenom CPU and Athlon and Semprom CPU’s. Further the MSI K9A2GM/VM series are equipped with PCI-Express generation 2.0, HyperTransport 3.0 technology, DDR2-1066 memory, Hybrid CrossFireX technology and UVD support. The new series are the first to support the upcoming 125Watt CPU’s. The MSI K9A2GM/VM series deliver great 3D performances with the build in ATI Radeon HD 3200/3100 graphics.

Integrated Graphics
The MSI K9A2GM/VM series are based on ATI’s Radeon™ HD3200/3100 IGP (integrated graphics processor) with DirectX10 support. This integrated graphics provide a realistic image that is suitable for the latest games titles without the need for a discrete graphics card. MSI delivers DVI or HDMI and a VGA ports on the new motherboards. With the full 1080p high definition support your movies or games will look stunning on a LCD-screen connected with HDMI.

ATI Hybrid CrossFireX
Technology The MSI K9A2GM/VM motherboard series also features the latest PCI-Express™ 2.0 bus technology and deliver high performance support for AMD’s new Hybrid CrossFireX™ technology. With this new technology users can combine the onboard ATI Radeon HD3200/3100 IGP with a MSI graphic card based on ATI chipset. This creates an extra performance boost. Besides this, when the MSI graphic card is not being used in the 3D mode it can be powered off and switched to the onboard AIT Radeon IPG. This provides a silent, low power pc solution.

Unified Video Decoder (UVD)
The K9A2GM mainboard series comes with the Unified Video Decoder (UVD) which relieves the CPU from the taxing video decode process and enables time-saving multi-tasking. It handles the decoding of H.264/AVC and VC-1 video codecs almost entirely by hardware only. The UVD technology of the ATI Radeon™ HD 3200 series provides sharp images with 1080p playback of high definition movies.
