EVGA X58 SLI motherboard released

EVGA has officially released the EVGA X58 SLI motherboard, its first motherboard that doesn't use a chipset from NVIDIA. The EVGA X58 SLI features the Intel X58 chipset and has support for 2-way and 3-way SLI but CrossFireX is also supported of course.

Here's a look at the features of this $329.99 motherboard:

  • 2-way SLI, 3-way SLI and CrossFireX support
  • 10 SATA II ports (1 e-SATA)
  • EVGA VDroop control: stabilizes voltage and ensures maximum stability when overclocking
  • 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000)
  • 8 channel audio (includes COAX and optical)
  • 100% solid state capacitors
  • Onboard Clear CMOS, Power and Reset buttons
  • 12 USB ports (8 I/O, 4 external)
  • 2 FireWire ports (1 I/O, 1 external)
  • Chipset fan with sideways exhaust
  • Detatched Enthusiast VREG cooler
  • EVGA E-LEET motherboard tuner for quick access to overclocking controls without going into the BIOS
