ASUS debuts 13 N, K and U series notebooks at CES

ASUS overwhelms us today with the launch of 13 new N series, K series and U series notebooks. The N series is equipped with USB 3.0, SonicMaster audio technology, and Video Magic upscaling. The K series sets itself apart with special features such as Palm Proof Technology, ASUS Power4Gear Hybrid and an ergonomic keyboard, while the U series has a special design that makes use of natural materials like bamboo. Designed for Entertainment and Comfort—Introducing the ASUS N and K Series Notebooks
As multimedia becomes an ever growing part of day-to-day computing usage, the importance of a highly capable entertainment notebook becomes even more significant. These solutions combine to provide users with greatly improved audio quality that brings multimedia events to life on their Notebooks.

Finally, the ASUS N Series features Video Magic software which boosts the resolution of conventional DVDs up to full high definition 1080p from the standard 480p, as well as naturalizing the color and brightness of the images displayed.

Designed with both user-centric and user-friendly amenities, the ASUS K Series is also equipped with the new Intel® Core™ i3 and i5 processors, and features Palm-proof Technology which is capable of distinguishing between the users' finger and palm. This prevents the cursor shifting while typing, the result of the palm accidentally grazing the touchpad. Palm-proof Technology does this by locking the touchpad when it detects a contact area larger than a fingertip, delivering ease-of-mind while typing. The K Series is also equipped with ASUS Power4 Gear, which adjusts the fan speed to provide a quieter and more serene computing environment.
