DigiTimes heard AMD is in no hurry to enter the tablet PC market:
While PC players are aggressively pushing tablet PC products at Computex 2010, AMD senior vice president and general manager of Products Group Rick Bergman pointed out that the company is not in a hurry to enter the tablet PC market since the market is currently only one firm and a complete ecosystem has not yet been formed. Therefore, AMD will focus on its Bobcat processor designed for netbooks for 2011.

AMD currently is still evaluating the tablet PC market and will wait until market demand starts to appear before joining, noted Bergman adding that AMD is more optimistic toward the netbook's future growth.
