Neowin writes screenshots have hit the web that confirm suspicions that Microsoft is planning a spring update for Windows 8.1. At this point there's no information about what changes this update will have to offer.
The spring update will likely not bring a significant overhaul to the platform by any means and we will have to wait until April of 2015 to see any major changes to the platform when Windows 9 arrives.

While Microsoft is reportedly not going to be pushing out a build before the final release, whispers have been making their way around the web that this build will leak out in the near future.
