AMD Radeon HD 7950 lives on as the Radeon R9 280

AMD introduces the Radeon R9 280, a new SKU that is almost identical to the two years old Radeon HD 7950 but with some higher clockspeeds and a new reference cooler design. The R9 280 features 1792 stream processors, 112 TMUs, 32 ROPs, a 384-bit memory bus, 3GB and GDDR5 memory. The 250W TDP card has a 827MHz core, 933MHz Boost and 5000MHz memory. The MSRP is $279.99.
