Cloud Imperium Games published new videos that show off progress on Star Citizen. This game is an upcoming space sim that will feature a persistent universe, important elements of the game will include exploration, combat and trading.

With over $51 million raised, Star Citizen is the most successful crowdfunded game ever but it's also one of the most ambitious games we've seen in a very long time. The scope of what this game is trying to achieve is really impressive.

First up is a clip that reveals gameplay from the first-person shooter module. The developer is first working on ship-based FPS but at a later stage in the game you can also expect planet-based FPS.

Next there's also some footage of planet-based competitive spaceship racing.
