ASUS Strix R9 285 offers lower noise

Thanks to an eBay auction for charity we have some details about the upcoming ASUS Strix R9 285 2GB OC Edition graphics card.

This upcoming model promises lower noise by only spinning up the fans of the DirectCU II cooling solution when the GPU temperature exceeds 65°C. This means the card will be silent most of the time as the fan will only kick in during gaming sessions or GPU intensive tasks.
