Windows 10 used by 27.42 percent of Steam users

While mainstream adoption of Windows 10 is going pretty slow, the adoption rate among gamers is picking up at a much faster rate. The latest Steam Hardware Survey results reveal 27.42 percent of Steam users now run Windows 10, up 2.43 percent versus the month before.

Windows 7 remains by far the most popular gaming OS, with a marketshare of 44.86 percent, while Windows 8.x takes the third place with a combined marketshare of 20.37 percent.
