This is just in, a leaked roadmap detailing Intel's plans for the desktop market. As usual, we can't verify the accuracy of this roadmap and these kind of plans change from time to time so take it with a grain of salt.

The roadmap reveals Intel's high-end Broadwell-E processors are scheduled for sometime in April 2016, these chips will come in six-core, eight-core and ten-core versions with 140W TDPs.

The chart also suggests we'll see a new quad-core Skylake-S 4+4e model sometime around October 2016, as well as the introduction of dual and quad-core Kaby Lake-S processors around the same timeframe.

Kaby Lake-U is expected towards the end of the second quarter, and Apollo Lake after mid-Q2 2016.
