Cooler Master presents the MasterBox 5t, this is basically a cheaper variant of the MasterCase Maker 5t. It ships in Europe for 89EUR and has a distinct black-red color scheme. Can't say I like the design of this model, the way the designers implemented the top I/O panel looks too weird for me.

Cooler Master, a leader in design and manufacturing computer components and peripherals, today announced the launch of the MasterBox 5t. This model is based on the high end MasterCase Maker 5t serie and is designed specifically for gamers at a more budget friendly price. This case's straightforward design comes with conveniently placed cut-outs, making component installation, interior expansion, and multiple interior layouts simple and easy. It can also support large, high-end components, several fans and DIY liquid cooling. Keep your system looking clean with numerous routing holes and a cover for your PSU.

There are some differences with the MasterCase Maker 5t so let's have a look at this new model:

Dual-tone red and black finish
In line with the color combination that shows up on many gaming-focused motherboards and components, the MasterBox 5t case is also lined in red and we are not using just normal red, but we have developed a special red paint with sparkling flakes. This results in an amazing color combination.

Red LEDs
To give the case its special look we have included a matching LED light. This LED is located at the front bottom and can be rotated to adjust the lights to your personal flavor.

Control panel
The controller board lets you control the fan speed, you can choose between high and low fan speed. It has 2 USB 3.0 ports and audio connections integrated on the front panel

Top handle
Also this model comes with a top handle for easy and convenient transportation of the case. This handle can hold up to 28.5kg of cargo when you're lugging it around at a LAN party

Improved air flow
The front panel has been specially redesigned for better airflow. The front panel contains two large mesh slots, this will result in improved air intake and therefor in better cooling.

Flexible mounting
Easily mount and rearrange SSDs across the motherboard tray, along the bottom shelf or on the back (for SSD).
