Motherboard makers in final stages of AMD Ryzen motherboard designing, launch late February

DigiTimes reports motherboard makers are optimistic about the price/performance ratio of AMD's upcoming Ryzen desktop processors. The chips are expected to be released towards the end of February 2017, with mass shipments in March.

The anonymous sources told the site they have received high-end X370, mainstream B350 and entry-level A320 chipsets from AMD. The motherboard makers are currently in the final stages of testing and motherboard designing.

The laptop version of Ryzen is expected in the second half of 2017.
