Intel rolled out its first Skylake-X processors last month and more versions will follow the coming months. The 12-core Core i9-7920X is expected to arrive next month but it appears its base clock will be pretty low.

VideoCardz noticed Intel added the chip to its official price list. The 7920X will cost $1,119 and will have a base clock of just 2.9GHz, making it 400MHz lower clocked than the 10-core i9-7900X, and 600MHz lower than the 12-core AMD Threadripper 1920X.

The Intel list also reveals the 7920X has 16.5MB L3 cache. No other details were revealed.
