ThermalTake brings its new Pacific W4 Plus CPU waterblock to the market. TechPowerUp writes the new block is very similar to the Pacific W4 RGB that was launched in January. The only difference is that this new version is fancier than the previous version. The new model has 12 RGB LEDs with support for 16.8 million colors, whereas the original Pacific W4 RGB had fewer LEDs and with support for just 256 colors.
The Pacific W4 Plus features a standardized RGB LED header, and the company is including the Riing Plus RGB software to let you control the color, brightness, and lighting patterns of the LEDs. What's more, the Pacific W4 Plus also includes socket AM4 retention modules, in addition to socket LGA2011/2066, and LGA115x.
Pricing and availability is unknown. The Pacific W4 RGB costs $79.99 so this new Plus model will probably cost a little bit more.
