Bethesda working on a Game of Thrones video game?

The seventh season of Game of Thrones concluded yesterday evening and now one of the hottest rumors on the web is that Bethesda may be working on a Game of Thrones video game! It wouldn't be the first game adaption of George R.R Martin's books but it's easy to imagine that a Skyrim-like Game of Thrones game could become a huge hit.
Spotted by users on NeoGaf, a new product page has appeared on the Target website simply stating 'Bethesda: Game of Thrones'. This has spawned speculation to the umpteenth degree, with fans of both Bethesda and Game of Thrones being torn on the issue. Last year, Fallout 4 was released and didn't set the world on fire with either its visuals or storytelling, with fans - based on the responses in the forum - fearing that the rumored foray into the novels of George R.R Martin might end up having a similar fate.
Bethesda has a history of not hyping upcoming games years in advance so if there's any truth to this we will probably not know for sure until approximately one year (give or take a couple of months) before the launch date.
