Seagate Barracuda SSD lineup update with 250TB to 2TB models

Seagate rolled out a new line of Barracuda solid state disks. This is the first new Barracuda SSD line since 2013, it consists of 2.5" SATA 6bps models with capacities of 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB.

The fastest model has a 540MB read speed, 520MB/s write speed, and random read IOPS of 90k. The full specifications aren't available yet.

Pricing for the 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB model is $74.99, $119.99, and $229.99, respectively. The price of the 2TB is unknown. Seagate sells the BarraCuda SSDs via Amazon, other channels will follow in September.
