Details emerged of several soon-to-be-released "Amber Lake" processors from Intel. These are new low-power processors, there will be at least three parts and they're expected to be launched sometime later this quarter.

All three Amber Lake chips are dual-core models with Hyper-Threading, they have a 5W TDP and feature Intel UHD 615 integrate graphics.
Note that the TDP value can be a little misleading, since Intel allowed device makers to configure the TDP as low as 3.5W or as high as 7 watts in order to enhance performance or battery life. It’s likely that the company will offer similar flexibility with its Amber Lake chips.
