Take it with a grain of salt, but AMD's Radeon RX 580 and Radeon RX 590 may soon see a price cut. Italian tech site Bits and Chips claims the MSRP of the Radeon RX 580 8GB will drop to $199, and the Radeon RX 590 to $229, in the next weeks.

The price cuts are necessary to make these cards more attractive versus NVIDIA's latest offerings. The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti launched for $279 last week, the same as the launch MSRP of the Radeon RX 590, and NVIDIA's new model is a lot faster than the Polaris-based card from AMD.
