VideoCardz writes Intel did reveal a Xe DG1 video card at CES 2020. The card that was shown is a prototype that will be delivered to software developers to optimize applications for the Xe architecture. The photos reveal a compact card with a premium-looking cooling solution. The card uses the PCI Express x16 interface and has no PCIe power connectors, which means it doesn't use more than 75W.
The Xe graphics will be divided into three main groups: Xe-LP, Xe-HP, and Xe-HPC. The DG1 is more than likely Xe-LP design, as we have already seen various leaks referring to 96 Execution Units.
More details are expected later today. We still don't know a lot about Intel's Xe plans for the consumer market, but so far there are no indications that the first cards will be more than low-end models.
