NVIDIA compared the first eight weeks of Pascal vs Turing for $299+ desktop video cards and concludes Turing it outselling Pascal by 45 percent.
The graphics chip maker also points out the future looks bright, claiming the majority of gamers are "buying up". At the moment, Turing is believed to have a 2 percent install base, versus 50 percent for Pascal and 48 for older architectures. NVIDIA says 90 percent of GeForce owners currently have a card with a performance level below the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti.
