Japanese hardware site PC Watch
got their hands on the modularized ASUS
Splendid MA3850M graphics card. This card features the Splendid HD color processor from Asus and a Mobility Radeon HD 3850M which uses MXM, a rarely used interface that was originally designed for notebooks with replaceable graphics cards.
Here are some photos of the Splendid MA3850M chip sandwich. The card is a bit shorter than other Radeon HD 3850 cards but it's a lot thicker:

The site says the card will be available for 23,800 yen, at the current currency exchange rate that's about $220.
