Samsung presents a new 10 megapixel digital camera, the NV24HD. This camera supports HDMI and can record 720p movies at up to 30 frames per second.

The camera has a 2.5" display and optical and digital image stabilization. It will be available in March for £249.
The 10 mega-pixel NV24HD enables users to record high definition videos for super sharp movie quality recordings. The camera’s High Definition Multimedia Interface and Consumer Electronics Control (HDMI) delivers crystal-clear images and movies via a single cable. Users can now experience their pictures on a big-screen LCD or plasma with superior HD quality. The NV24HD even comes with a remote control for use with compatible Samsung TVs – so you can control your photos as you watch them on the big screen.

720p resolution video can be recorded at up to 30 frames per second and can be easily viewed on the 2.5” AM-OLED Screen which has been specially designed to provide a faster response time, a wider viewing angle and higher image quality. The NV24HD also includes dual picture stabilization – by integrating both the optical picture and digital picture stabilization the user obtains vastly improved image quality and outstanding exposure without the blur.

Other features include faster Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR) to 0.7 seconds, advanced noise reduction which supports up to ISO 3200 and a local contrast control which enables the camera to compensate the brightness of a shadowed subject in backlit conditions for even better results.
