VIA sales recovered 37 percent in March

DigiTimes reports VIA saw its revenues grow 37 percent sequentially in March, but sales were still down 50.12 percent year-over-year. The chip firm expects its revenue will improve significantly once 10" netbooks with VIA processors start shipping in May.
VIA Technologies saw its revenues grow 37% sequentially to NT$533 million (US$15.77 million) in March, but the company still suffered an on-year drop of 50.12%. First-quarter revenues reached NT$1.29 billion, a drop of 51.86% on year, according to the company.
