AMD teases the Radeon HD 6990

According to the latest rumors, AMD's dual-GPU Radeon HD 6990 "Antilles" graphics card may finally hit the market on March 8, while NVIDIA's dual-GPU GeForce GTX 590 is slated for sometime later in March.

A couple of pictures of the Radeon HD 6990 were published over at Bjorn3D. The card is pretty long and includes one DVI plus four Mini-DisplayPort outputs. The Radeon HD 6990 offers a total of 3072 shaders, 2x 256-bit memory bus and 4GB GDDR5 memory.
