The Sony Playstation 3 Unleashed

Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. today announced the Playstation 3 computer entertainment system, at a press conference held in Los Angeles , California , on the eve of the biggest videogame convention of the year.

Ending months of speculation, the unit will officially be called the Playstation 3, confirmed Ken Kutaragi, Sony Computer Entertainment President and CEO, and "the father of the Playstation."
