Samsung ATIV Tab 3 claims to be thinnest Windows 8 tablet

Samsung introduces the ATIV Tab 3, a new Windows 8 tablet with a thickness of only 8.2mm and a weight of 550g. The device has a 10.1" screen with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and is powered by Intel's Atom Z2760 1.8GHz SoC. Other features include 2GB LPDDR2 memory, 64GB eMMC storage, microSD memory card reader, micro-USB 2.0 port, micro-HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11n WiFi, SIM card slot for 3G, and up to 10 hours of battery life thanks to the 25.6Wh battery.

In Europe the tablet will arrive by late August for 629EUR.
