At the Oculus Connect conference, the VR company announced its Touch controllers will start shipping on December 6 for $199, with pre-orders opening on October 10.

Two games will be included with the Touch controllers, VR Sports Challenge and The Unspoken, as well as an additional camera. However, folks who want room-scale VR tracking like you can do with the HTC Vive will need a third sensor, and that will cost you an extra $79.

A full VR set with the Oculus Rift VR headset, the Touch controllers and the roomscale sensor will set you back $877, while a comparable HTC Vive system costs $799.

Furthermore, Oculus said it's working on an in-ear earphones for the Rift. That peripheral ships in December for $49.

This was the third Oculus Connect event but Oculus founder Palmer Luckey was notably missing in action. Seems like Oculus owner Facebook deemed him too controversial after last month's news about Palmer's connection to a political shit-posting group.
