Intel Core i9-12900K, i7-12700K and i5-12600K specifications leak
As we get closer to the launch, more engineering and qualification samples are circulating and this makes it harder to contain leaks. Today there are leaked details about the Intel Core i9-12900K, i7-12700K and i5-12600K. Intel calls the performance cores P-Core and identifies the high-efficiency cores as E-Core. The high-performance cores are based on Golden Cove while the high-efficiency cores use the Gracemont architecture.VideoCardz compiled the specifications into a handy comparison table. All three models are unlocked K-series parts with a PL1 (power level 1) of 125W and a PL2 (power level 2) of 228W. The former value is better known as TDP, while the PL2 value is the absolute maximum power draw of the chip.
The Core i9-12900K, the flagship SKU of the upcoming series is to features 8 big cores and 8 small cores. The small cores are to boost up to 3.9 GHz (3.7 GHz all-core), while big cores will boost up to 5.3 GHz (5.0 GHz all-core). This SKU is to feature 30MB of L3 Cache.
