ATI Radeon X1900 GT to be priced at $350

Posted on Thursday, April 27 2006 @ 20:15:11 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

The Inq claims the upcoming ATI Radeon X1900 GT will be priced at $350.
So, as it turns out, the X1900 GT is R580-based is pretty much a renamed GTO with a better specification that we all expected. This might be a sign that not too many chips are falling out, as we mentioned earlier. No-one expected this card to have more than a 500MHz core clock.

We also learned that the card will cost be around €/$350. It is meant to compete with Nvidia's Geforce 7900 GT that is selling for around €/$300 already. ATI's solution will be more expensive so we are sure it will eventually have to drop the price.
