eBook Readers Ready for Consumers?

Why has producing a successful eBook reader been such a struggle? After all, much of the cost of a book goes into the printing and binding, so there seems to be huge incentives to lower production costs of each book. The challenges are numerous, but have come down to display design and the logistics behind the delivery of reading material. The expected release dates for some eBook readers is not far away. This is an exciting prospect and something which could have a large impact on the printing industry and the entire field of mobile products. This article is going to go over what we know about these products as well as what to expect from the next round of readers.
